Utenlandsk mann funnet omkommet sør for Patong
10.10.2024Politiet forsøker å identifisere av en omkommet utenlandsk mann som ble funnet i vannet sør for Patong Beach på Phuket tidlig onsdag morgen.
Politiet ble tilkalt til åstedet, foran et hotell på Muen Ngern Rd, på odden rett sør for Patong, klokken 09.10, meldet The Phuket News.
Nødetatene ankom stedet og fant den omkomne mannen, som bare var iført shorts, flytende med ansiktet ned i vannet.
Den omkomne ble fraktet det til Patong Hospital, der en obduksjon vil bli gjennomført for å bekrefte dødsårsaken.
De første rapportene tyder på at hotellpersonalet først ble varslet om den forulykkede etter at en gjest oppdaget det flytende nær kysten og meldte fra om det.
Politiet jobber nå med å fastslå mannens identitet og om det har vært noen savnede personer i området, samt å undersøke omstendighetene rundt mannens død.
